INTACTA.CODE Software Developer's Kit is designed to assist developers in creating or extending software
and firmware solutions that require secure and compressed data exchanges across any medium. The kit enables developers to encode data, add data compression, error correction, and security in a single
step process. With suitability for the mobile computing space in mind, the kit is also designed to secure information during transmission from backend systems to mobile computing devices (eg. PDAs),
and continues to secure the information while it resides on the device. Currently only available for the Windows platforms, the kit comes in three editions: Developers, Plus, and Enterprise. The Plus
and Enterprise editions include support for increasing amounts of data and an INTACTA.CODE transcoder for IBM's WebSphere Pervasive Computing platform. The transcoder transmits strongly encrypted and
highly resilient data to handheld, wireless devices such as Palm Pilots and Pocket PCs. Additionally, the Enterprise edition includes time with the Intacta Engineering/R&D staff for assistance in
customization.
